The Virginia State Police said the driver of a tractor-trailer is dead after hitting a disabled dump truck on Interstate 95 in Prince William County.
Virginia State Police say the crash happened Friday around 11 p.m. Virginia State Police said they received a call from a motorist about a disabled dump truck blocking the middle northbound lane of Interstate 95 near Quantico.
A trooper was sent to the scene, but soon after the call was received a tractor-trailer struck the dump truck, causing both vehicles to overturn.
Virginia State Police say the driver of the tractor-trailer died at the scene and the driver of the dump truck was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Virginia State Police did not immediately release the identity of the tractor-trailer driver.
