Fire crews battled a fire at an indoor football practice facility under construction at the University of Virginia.

Fire crews battled a fire at an indoor football practice facility under construction at the University of Virginia.

The fire started about 12:30 p.m. Thick black smoke was reported over much of Charlottesville.

Firefighters controlled the blaze in about 90 minutes.

No injuries were reported.
