University of Maryland Police arrested three men in burglaries at the college's Varsity Team Building.

Igor Cooper Rosensteel, Richard Nathan Landa and Ian Robert Hammer have been charged with burglary and theft, officers said.

The building was broken into several times in November and December and items worth more than $20,000 were stolen, authorities said. Many of the items were equipment used by the lacrosse and baseball teams.

Many of the items were sold during online auctions, police said.
