Campus police at the University of Maryland-Baltimore campus discovered two explosive devices in a dormitory stairwell on the Catonsville campus.

Police said a university employee found two Molotov cocktails Saturday and alerted authorities.

The homemade devices were filled with a flammable liquid and had a wick on top of the container.

The state fire marshal's office removed the explosives from the campus without incident.

Police say there currently are no suspects in the incident.

Students were notified via e-mail about six hours after the explosives were discovered.
