Two Arrested for Leaving Children Home Alone in Manassas

    Andres Arturo Escamilla Rivera, 36, of Manassas, and Oredy Herrador, 25, of Manassas, were charged with three counts of reckless endangerment of a child.

    Prince William County police arrested two people Wednesday for leaving three children - one only a year old - home alone for several hours.

    Detectives found the children - ages 1, 2 and 6 - in a home in the 7400 block of Willoughby Lane in Manassas. Police said a neighbor had reported them unattended.

    The children were unharmed and given to the custody of family members.

    Police arrested Andres Arturo Escamilla Rivera, 36, of 7450 Willoughby Ln #201 in Manassas, and Oredy Herrador, 25, of 7450 Willoughby Ln #201 in Manassas.

    Both were charged with three counts of reckless endangerment of a child.
