Two women have been charged in connection with last Thursday’s home invasion robbery attempt that ended with one suspect dead and another seriously injured, according to the Loudon County, Va., Sheriff’s Office.

One of the women, Rebecca Lynn Hook, 27, from Lovettsville, was arrested and charged with one count of being an accessory after the fact, police said.

The other woman, Whitney Lasik, 24, from Sterling, is currently at large.  She has been charged with one count of being an accessory after the fact and one count of obstruction of justice, said police.

Police said they believe Lasik drove one of the suspects from Thursday's robbery attempt in the 1200 block of E. Kennedy Drive in Sterling to Inova Loudoun Hospital. That suspect, Anthony D. Miles, 28, of Manassas, was shot by one of the residents and later died at the hospital.
