    Big Sword Fountain Devices (L) and Contraband 24 Canister Shell Fireworks Kit (R) are being recalled, the CPSC says.

    Important information for the July 4 holiday - the Consumer Product Safety Commission has notified consumers that two kinds of fireworks are being recalled.

    Big Sword Fountain Devices are being recalled because the handle contains a fountain-like device that is supposed to emit sparks. But that device can unexpectedly explode, posing a risk of impact and burn to the user.

    Winco has recalled its Contraband 24 Canister Shell Fireworks Kit because the shell can blow up in the tube during firing, posing impact and burn hazards to the user and bystanders.
