Two of the three suspects accused of brutally beating a man this summer in Eastern Market appeared in court today.

Tommy Branch and Sunny Kuti were in D-C Superior Court to formally hear the charges they are facing. The third suspect -- Michael Moore -- waived his hearing.

The suspects are accused of beating and robbing Thomas Maslin as he walked home in August.

Maslin suffered traumatic brain injury and was in a coma for nearly two months.

The suspects will be back in court next week.
