Police are on the lookout for two men wanted in a sex assault reported on the corner of North Capitol Street and Florida Avenue NW.
According to a news release, a woman walking in the area between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. Wednesday reported she was pushed to the ground by an unknown male, then sexually assaulted. She saw the man flee to a car driven by another suspect.
The first suspect is described as a black man with dark complexion, standing 6'0" in his late 20s or early 30s with a small afro. The second is described as a black male, short, with a slim build and a short haircut, aged between 20 and 30 years old.
The two men fled in a turquoise 4-door sedan with heavily tinted windows, possibly a Nissan or Honda, police said.
