Two residents and two firefighters were injured from a house fire in Glen Burnie, Md., early Sunday morning.
Anne Arundel County Fire crews responded to the 7300 block of Dodson Lane around 1:20 a.m. They found heavy smoke and fire coming from the basement and first floor of a 2-story house.
Three people in the home were alerted by smoke detectors and were able to escape on their own from the burning structure. Two of the residents were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
Two firefighters were also transported to the hospital for evaluation of unspecified injuries.
Investigators said the fire was accidental. Damage is estimated at $65,000.
