1 Man Killed, 3 Men Hurt in Southeast D.C. Shootings

One man was killed and three other men were wounded in two separate shootings Monday night in Southeast D.C. 

In the first double shooting, two men were shot about two blocks southwest of the Anacostia Metro station. The shooting occurred on the 1100 block of Eaton Road SE, police said after arriving on the scene about 7:35 p.m. Ernest Massenberg-Bey Jr., 21, was pronounced dead; the other man survived. 

The second double shooting occurred about 10 p.m. at 46th and G streets SE. Both victims were expected to survive.

None of the suspected shooters had been arrested as of 11 p.m. Monday. No information on what preceded the shootings was released immediately.
