Police Investigate Crash That Killed Two on Rt. 301

The northbound lanes of Route 301 in White Plains, Maryland have reopened following an accident that killed two people.

Just after 2:15 a.m. Monday, an officer responded to a report of an accident involving a tractor trailer and motorcycle on Route 301 at Theodore Green Boulevard. Two people on the motorcycle were pronounced dead at the scene,Maryland State Police said. 

The identity of the victims and the circumstances surrounding the crash were not released.

The northbound lanes of Rt. 301 were closed for just about four hours as police conducted their investigation.
