Two people were killed and four others injured in a head-on collision in St. Mary’s County, Maryland, late Friday night.
The county sheriff’s office said the collision occurred in the area of Three Notch Road and Thomas Rowe Lane around 10:45 p.m. When officers arrived, they found both drivers were dead.
The deceased victims are identified as Latoya Shawnta Jordan, 33, of Lexington Park, Maryland and Calvin Dilmera Berry, 33, of Leondardtown, Maryland. An adult and three juveniles were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Investigators said Jordan’s vehicle was traveling north on Three Notch Road when it crossed the center line, striking Berry’s vehicle. They said weather appeared to be a contributing factor in the collision.
