Police say two people were injured following a shooting in Southeast D.C. Monday evening.

Crews responded to the 4800 block of Benning Road SE just before 7 p.m. where they found the two injured individuals.

Benning Road was closed in both directions for some time.

No suspect information has been released, but police say the two victims suffered minor injuries.
