Crews spent the better part of Tuesday cleaning up crude graffiti at South Lake High School's new football field, days after graffiti was found at Herndon High School.

According to a letter sent home to parents by the district, vandalism was found at both high schools in the form of graffiti on buildings and fields, causing "extensive damage and requiring expensive cleanup."

The South Lake vandalism was found Saturday just before a soccer tournament. According to Patch.com, the vandalism featured an "elaborate drawing of the Herndon High mascot ... at the stadium."

Last week, Herndon High School was also vandalized.
