Two people died in separate shootings overnight Friday, making a violent start to the weekend in Prince George's County, Md.

One woman died and a man was injured in a shooting in the parking lot of Andrews Restaurant on the 6400 block of Suitland Road in Suitland at about 2 a.m. Saturday, police said.

Police identified the woman as Cynthia Deshawn Aaron, 32, of Glenn Dale. She was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound and later died.

The man also had gunshot wounds. Police said he was expected to survive.

The preliminary investigation found the shooting started with an argument between the man and an unknown suspect.

There is a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment in the case. Call Crime Solvers at (877) 411-8477 to leave an anonymous tip.

The shooting involved a man who was killed in southeast Washington. That also happened at about 2 a.m. Saturday in the 600 block of 46th Place.

Police have not released the victim's identity, but they said he was shot multiple times.
