Two Arrested after Puppies Stolen from Home

Two people were arrested for allegedly stealing two puppies from a Severn, Md., home on February 6.

Anne Arundel County police said a man was attempting to sell blue pit-bull puppies from his home on Patuxent Road. On February 5, another man wanted to buy one of the puppies, but there was no sale.

The puppies’ owner discovered two puppies missing the next day.

Investigators eventually went to the 8200 block of Dunfield Court in Severn and recovered both puppies on Friday. Ashley Thomas, 21, and Tennese Koffa, 22, both of Severn, were arrested and charged with two counts each of felony theft.

Police said charges are pending on a third suspect.
