Over 200 people are without power after a transformer exploded in a popular shopping center in the Clarendon section of Arlington County Tuesday morning.
Arlington County fire officials say an underground transformer exploded in the 2800 block of Clarendon Boulevard.
Video from the Arlington County Fire Department shows flames coming a portion of the street.
At its height, nearly 900 people in the area were without power.

An airport crash truck with dry chemical capabilities has been called to the scene.
No injuries have been reported.
