A single-vehicle crash in Caroline County has backed up traffic for miles on Interstate 95 south of Fredericksburg, Va., according to Virginia State Police.
A southbound tractor-trailer crashed into a tree and burst in to flames before 4 p.m. The cause of the crash is unknown.
There are reports of one death in the crash.
The southbound left lane and shoulder of I-95 reopened at about 4:30 p.m., but traffic problems continued.
