Tolls to Increase on Dulles Toll Road

Toll rates will increase Jan. 1 for drivers at the eastern-most point of the Dulles Toll Road.

The cost to pass through the Main Toll Plaza near Tysons Corner will increase 75 cents, meaning it will now cost $2.50 for two-axle vehicles (most passenger cars and trucks) and up to $8.75 for vehicles with six or more axles.

There will be no increase at any of the Toll Road's on/off ramps.

The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority says the increase was adopted after a public comment period last year and will help MWAA maintain the Dulles Toll Road and help fund construction of Metrorail's Silver Line project along the Dulles corridor.
