A toddler is in critical condition after almost drowning in a bathtub in a Laurel home, according to Prince George's County fire officials.
Family members called 911 and performed CPR on the girl after she was found under water in the tub Thursday, fire spokesman Mark Brady said.
Rescuers went to the home in the 1000 block of 10th Street about 7:15 p.m. and continued emergency care and took the girl to a hospital.
Officials have not released the child's age.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
