Three dozen baseball fans proved their love for their team in a permanent way: They got tattoos of the team logo, and in return were given baseball tickets for life.
The Syracuse Chiefs, a New York farm team for the Nationals, offered up the tickets-for-tattoos swap and found there were plenty of fans who were willing to oblige. People lined up hours before the gates opened earlier this week to take advantage of the offer.
Only the first 36 people were taken.
The shoulders, calves and back were the most popular spots for the tattoos.
