Three Wounded in Shooting in Hyattsville

Three people were wounded Saturday night in a triple shooting in Hyattsville, Maryland, and the alleged gunman is still on the loose.

Police said the shooting apparently happened just before 8 p.m. near 4500 American Boulevard. A man had been arguing with a group of people when he walked back to his car and got a gun.

The man shot a 20-year-old man, an 18-year-old man and a 16-year-old girl. The three victims were sent to local hospitals.

Police are looking for the alleged gunman, described as a black man in his 20s, 6 feet tall, 190 pounds, with shoulder-length dreadlocks and wearing a plaid shirt and blue jeans. He is driving a red, four-door Toyota, police said.
