Three Women Arrested for Baltimore Co. Bank Robbery

Three women were charged in connection with a Friday bank robbery in Baltimore County.

Baltimore County police said officers responded to the Baltimore County Savings Bank on Eastern Boulevard in Essex, Md., Friday afternoon. They said two suspected entered the bank and passed a note to the teller implying they had a bomb.

The suspects fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police stopped a vehicle a short distance away from the location and arrested three people.

Alexis Chandler, 19, of Windsor Mill, Md., Czekiah Fludd, 24, of Baltimore, and Ashley Fitz, 22, of Baltimore, were charged with armed robbery.  Fitz was also charged for a similar bank robbery that occurred the day before at the First Mariner Bank on Painters Mill Road in Owings Mills, Md.

All three suspects are being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on $350,000 bail. Detectives are attempting to determine if the suspects are responsible for other area robberies.
