If you plan on taking Metro this weekend, you'll need to add a little more time to your commute.

The Brookland, Takoma and Silver Spring stations on the Red Line will be closed while Fort Totten -- typically a stop for Red, Yellow and Green Llne trains -- will only serve the Green Line.

Free shuttles will replace trains between the Rhode Island Avenue and Forest Glen stations.

Trains on the Orange, Blue, Yellow and Green lines will operate every 20 minutes. For those using the Yellow Line, service will run from Huntington and stop at Mount Vernon Square. Passengers traveling further will have to use the Green Line to complete their trips.
