Prince George’s County police said three people were shot early Sunday morning outside The Upscale Ballroom in Suitland, Md.
A spokesman said an altercation occurred inside the building after 1 a.m. and a group was escorted out of the building by security. Once outside, the altercation continued, and a suspect pulled out a gun and started shooting.
Three people were hit by gunfire. Two were taken to the hospital and one was treated at the scene.
Police are still searching for the suspected gunman.
