Three people were killed in an early morning accident in Oxon Hill, Maryland.

It happened on Rt. 210, Indian Head Highway,  in Prince George's County.

Police are reporting a GMC Yukon rear-ended a Mazda 3 sedan near Wilson Bridge Drive, forcing it off the road into a tree.

Three of the four people in the Mazda were killed.  Police said Sunday the deceased are Eugene Johnson, 55, from Manassas, and Gwendolyn Demby, 54, also of Manassas.  Police are still trying to identify the third victim, who was an adult female.  The fourth passenger, an adult male, was transported to the hospital.

The driver and passenger in the SUV were not injured in the crash.  Police believe alcohol and speed were a factor, but no charges have been filed yet.
