Three Film Festivals to Entertain This October

Three film festivals are bringing culture and perspectives from around the world to D.C. this October.

The Washington West Film Festival begins Wednesday at the Hamilton Hotel in the Capitol. The festival features Hollywood studio releases as well as films by independent directors; each was chosen, organizers said, to highlight stories that can change the world.

All of the proceeds go to charities that support programs to end disease, hunger, and displacement.

Actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus will introduce a documentary about her father at the festival, which runs until Sunday. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4
