    A Baltimore police officer killed his former girlfriend, and her new firefighter boyfriend, then killed himself, police say.

    Three people were found dead early Sunday morning in what police are calling a double murder-suicide in Glen Burnie, Md.

    Anne Arundel County police were called to a home in the 1900 block of Armistead Road around 1:35 a.m. When they arrived, they found two men and one woman dead from gunshot wounds.

    Authorities say Christopher Lee Robinson, a Baltimore city police officer, killed two people -- firefighter Andrew Hoffman and Leann Hartman -- before killing himself. Police believe this to be the result of a love triangle gone sour.

    A preliminary investigation indicated the shooter was one of the deceased and there was a relationship between the shooter and the female victim.

    Police have identified the two victims as Andrew Scott Hoffman, 27, of Glen Burnie, and Marie Leanne Edith Hartman, 26, of Glen Burnie. Hoffman was an active member of the Baltimore City Fire Department.

    A Baltimore firefighter and a woman were killed last night after being gunned down by a city police officer. Anne Arundel County police say they believe the shooting was a result of a love triangle gone wrong. After killing the firefighter and the woman, the police officer killed himself. News4's Derrick Ward reports.

    The suspect has been identified as Christopher Lee Robinson, 37, of Abingdon, Md. Robinson was a member of the Baltimore City Police Department.

    Police said there is no on-going danger to the community. The investigation continues and while no motive has been established, police said it appears to be a domestic incident.
