Thieves Steal Computers From D.C. School: Police

For the third time in less than a year, someone broke into a D.C. school and stole several laptop computers.

According to police, the incident occurred over the weekend during a PTA meeting at Maury Elementary School, 1250 Constitution Ave. NE.

Officials say 25 laptop computers were stolen from the school.

Last month, thieves broke in and stole electronics from McKinley Technical High School, 151 T St. NE. Last March, 12 iMac computers were stolen from Brent Elementary School,  301 North Carolina Ave. SE.
