A thief stole a USB “thumb drive” containing emergency contact information for students at Lake Ridge Middle School in Woodbridge, Va.

Principal Jo Fitzgerald sent a letter to parents Friday informing them of the theft.

The principal said the drive included student names, phone numbers and bus numbers.

An informational meeting will be held Monday at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria at Lake Ridge Middle School.
