THE WILLIAMS SISTERS ARE COMING TO TOWN
The Washington Kastles -- defending World Tennis Team champions, mind you -- announced a big move today: both Williams sisters, Serena and Venus, will play for D.C.'s WTT outfit this summer.

"The historic opportunity to have both Serena and Venus on our team is a thrill, both for the success of our team and for our fans, whose support has been so integral to our success," said team owner Mark Ein. World number one Serena, who has been a Kastles mainstay since 2008, will be joined by fifth-ranked Venus, who will call Kastles Stadium home after a trade with Philadelphia. (WTOP)

FOUL-MOUTHED SURGEON BLASTS FAT PATIENT
A foul-mouthed New Zealand surgeon has been reprimanded after swearing at a severely obese patient.

A 44-year-old mother filed a complaint about the doctor after a tense consultation with him last year, The New Zealand Herald reports.

The doctor said f--- at least three times to the Maori woman after she told him she didn't like the word "diet" and preferred the term "lifestyle". (Sydney Morning Herald)

BUSBOY TURNS LEFTOVERS INTO WORKS OF ART
People arrive hungry and empty-handed. They leave clutching ducks, dolphins and mermaids.

And it's thanks to the deft hands of Miguel Carrillo, a busboy at Gladstone's Malibu in Pacific Palisades who for 29 years has crafted animal-shaped doggie bags out of aluminum foil. In minutes, he can turn leftover halibut into an island with a palm tree and mermaid, or a dolphin.

His work has earned him the name "The Magician" from co-workers and customers. (MSNBC)

TWITTER RULES THE DAY IN BLIZZARD OF 2010
I gotta say Twitter really was amazing during the storm. There was terrific info from district agencies like @DDOTDC and of course the residents of many neighborhoods around town. I just wanted to share one insane story. A reader tweeted me asking about Comcast going down this morning. Not 5 minutes later a Comcast employee tweeted back (from Philly) to both of us letting us know what was going on with Comcast. Totally wild. For the record, the reader’s Comcast is now working.

Anyone else find twitter super useful during the storms? (Prince Of Petworth)
