Temple Hills Man Charged In Woman's Death

Robbery believed to be behind slaying

A 19-year-old man has been charged in the slaying of a woman found dead in a vacant apartment in the same Temple Hills complex where the man lived.

Prince George's County police say Joshua Barlow has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of 30-year-old Latoya Hall. A police spokeswoman says robbery is believed to be the motive for the case.

Police say Hall was found dead Wednesday with her arms and legs bound. The Washington Times reported that Barlow had contacted Hall via an erotic services advertisement and asked her to come to the apartment, though that report was not immediately confirmed by police.

Barlow, who was arrested Friday, is being held without bond. Online court records do not list an attorney for him.
