Telemundo Washington Holds Community Phone Bank for TPS Cases

NBC4's new sister station Telemundo Washington will hold a community phone bank on Jan. 8-9 to answer questions about the Temporary Protected Status program.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has ended TPS for about 200,000 immigrants from El Salvador, as it recently did for Nicaraguans and Haitians.

People who have questions about their TPS case can call 202-885-4949 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday. Telemundo Washington will provide information, advice and resources in partnership with the Consulate General of El Salvador and community organizations CASA and CARECEN.

This community phone bank is being held as part of Telemundo Washington's "Working For You" commitment.
