Teens Struck Walking to School in Mont. Co.

Two teenage girls walking to catch a bus to school Wednesday morning were struck when a driver lost control of a vehicle in Silver Spring.

The accident occurred shortly before 7 a.m., Montgomery County Police said -- as the girls were walking on the 1600 block of East Randolph Road. A driver crashed into a guardrail and struck the pedestrians.

Their injuries were all non life-threatening.
