Two teens are facing burglary charges after police caught them stealing from a D.C. charter school.
Officers were called to the Two Rivers Public Charter School in the 1200 block of 4th Street NE at 9:45 p.m. Sunday for reports of a burglary in progress. Investigators say the two boys were found inside and ran away from the scene when they saw the officers.
Both were arrested following a short chase. Police say the boys are charged with Burglary II.
There's no word on what the duo tried to take from the school or if any damage was done.
