Two teenagers were charged Wednesday in the slaying of a 74-year-old man in Riverdale, Md.
Police say on July 14, Glenn Adkisson was assaulted and stabbed during a robbery attempt while walking his dog in the 6200 block of 64th Avenue.
Adkisson was taken to the hospital in critical condition and eventually went into a coma. On Tuesday, Adkisson succumbed to his injuries and died.
Marcus Ferguson, 16, was charged with first-degree murder. He is being held on a no bond status. Kenneth Gails, 18, was charged with second-degree murder. He is being held on a $750,000 bond.
Investigators plan to revisit the crime scene on Thursday from 11 a.m. to noon to find additional witnesses. Anyone with additional information is asked to call Crime Solvers.
