Teens Accused of Taking Stun Gun to School

Two Maryland high school students are accused of taking a stun gun to school.

One 14-year-old boy took the stun gun to Walt Whitman High School and gave it to another 14-year-old boy, Montgomery County police said.

Security reported the possible possession of a stun gun to the school resource officer at the school, and the officer found the students and confiscated the stun gun, police said.

The students were arrested and charged with possession of a dangerous weapon on school grounds. They were released to their parents' custody.

There are no reports that the stun gun was used.
