Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal car crash that claimed the life of a 17-year-old and injured three others.

Courtney G. Curl was one of two passengers in a Chevy Camaro headed westbound on East Mount Harmony Road in Owings driven by 20-year-old Brittany Curl when it, for unknown reasons, crossed the double yellow lines into eastbound traffic around 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Camaro crashed into a Honda Ridgeline truck, driven by Charles Wood.

Courtney died of her injuries, while Brittany and Peyton Curl were injured. Wood was also injured in the collision.

Alcohol or drugs do not appear to be contributing factors. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
