ELKTON, Md. -- A teen who allegedly beat his mother with a bat because she wouldn't share her fries with him wants his case heard in juvenile court, the Cecil Whig reported.

Dennis Hickman III, 16, of Port Deposit, was charged with first-degree assault and other offenses in the May 19 incident.
