Police are looking for a man who they say shot a teenager in Anacostia Saturday afternoon.

Police said the teen was shot on Birney Place in Southeast D.C. Investigators say the teen was hit in the lower back and walked to the Anacostia metro station for help.

The teen, whose name has not been released, is expected to survive.

Metro is checking surveillance video to see if the gunman got onto a bus.
