Teen Reports Abduction Attempt

Says man approached her as she walked to school

Fairfax County police are investigating the report of an attempted abduction of a teenage girl.

A 14-year-old girl said she was grabbed about 7a.m. while walking to school Friday near the intersection of Quisenberry Drive and Kings Hill Court in Mount Vernon.

The girl said a man offered to drive her to school. She said she ignored him and kept walking until he grabbed her.

She said she kicked him and he fled.

Police weren't immediately notified of the incident but have since contacted neighbors and canvassed the area.
