Police: 15-year-old confessed to her role in Metro beating

A 15-year-old girl faces charges for a beating caught on tape outside the L’Enfant Plaza Metro station.

Allen Haywood, 47, said he was reading a book that Sunday, January 3 evening at the station when a group of four people walked up to him and started beating him for no apparent reason. Haywood said he was hit over the head more than a dozen times.

Haywood spoke with NBC4's Pat Collins about the attack prior to the arrest.
