Brandon Johnson, 17, was found Saturday around 3:15 a.m. during a routine welfare check in the 4900 block of Suitland Road. When police arrived, Johnson was suffering from a gunshot wound in a nearby parking lot.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
"You know, he'd make everyone smile," Brandon's aunt Lynn Whittington told News4. "For somebody to do him like this in a cowardly way and get rid of him like he's a piece of trash is unspeakable to me."
