Teen Attacked in Oxon Hill, Md.

A 16-year-old boy was beaten and robbed on a trail behind Glassmanor Elementary School in Oxon Hill, Md.

Authorities in Prince George's County say a group of robbers attacked a teenager while he was walking toward Oxon Hill High School.

It happened Wednesday afternoon in Oxon Hill on a trail behind Glassmanor Elementary School.

Investigators say the 16-year-old was walking when several people approached him, assaulted him and robbed him. He was beaten badly enough to have to go to the hospital, but he's expected to recover.

Police did not release a description of the suspects.
