Capitol Police gave the all clear before 6 p.m. Monday after investigating a suspicious package in the Dirksen Senate Office Building.
The area around the second-floor office of Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., was blocked off during the investigation.
D.C. Fire and EMS also responded.
