A man arrested for allegedly displaying a gun Sunday is suspected in the shooting of a man in May, according to D.C. police.
About 10:50 p.m. May 18, someone shot a man in the 1900 block of I Street NE. The victim was taken to a hospital.
Sunday about 4:50 a.m., police received a report of a man with a gun in the 1600 block of Benning Road NE.
They arrested 23-year-old Bijan Gray of northeast Washington and charged him with assault with a dangerous weapon.
Gray also was charged with assault with intent to kill for the May shooting.
