Students Treated for Heat Exhaustion in Mont. Co.

At least two students at Magruder High School in Rockville were being treated for heat exhaustion as temperatures soared to record highs Wednesday, said Montgomery County Fire & Rescue officials.

Two 8th-grade girls experienced symptoms of heat exhaustion during a choral festival in the school.

Both girls passed out, said school officials.

Montgomery County schools report they are still in the process of turning on the air conditioning the school.
