Street Closures for March 17

The District is a very happening place this weekend, with everything from St. Patrick's Day events to the 2012 Rock N Roll SunTrust National Marathon and the CareFirst BlueCross/BlueShield National Half Marathon and Relay Races.

Both the DC Department of Transportation and DC Police have released a list of street closures for this weekend and advise residents to expect traffic delays during the races.

To ensure your plans aren't delayed, check out the list of street closings below.

The races will begin at 8 am on Saturday morning but some streets will be closed as early as 3 am. The public can expect all streets to be reopened at 2:30pm on Saturday, depending on prevailing conditions.

The marathons will form at 19th and C Street, NE and continue forming up on 22nd Street to the front of RFK Stadium.
