A Spotsylvania County school employee has been arrested for allegedly having a consensual relationship with a female student.
Police say Keith Pendleton dated a 17-year-old Courtland High School student for six months.
Pendleton , 35, was a teacher's assistant and assistant coach for the football and track teams. He no longer works for the school district.
Pendleton was charged with one count each of indecent liberties and distribution of drugs to a minor and three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
He is being held without bond in the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
